On page 1 of todays B section of the coalfield there's a pick of a 2 pound morel. With the color and round shape I think this is a false morel. Opinions?

Sounds probable. I may have to get Coalfield to check it out.

I found a couple a few years back that size. I was scared of them because they were solid all the way through were they should have been hollow.
Whe I first saw it I thought false morel. I wish they could have shown a pic of it sliced open.
